My Review (I am not a reviewer - Its just one personal view)
A simple utility, that I got because I thought it would list my directory (folder) names. But it only lists files in a single directory.. However, it performs one little task for me, which is, I don't like my cd insert printing software, and I use Lotus wordpro for mp3 compilations. This program reads my mp3 folders, where all my files, are listed by: [Track Number]-[Track Title] Which it converts to text, and files, which can be imported to the word processor thus speeding up my documentation, brilliantly. Also, it can (optionally) include file time-stamps and/or file size. My CD-writer software does inserts but I pefer my wordprocessor, than the strict layouts, and I like to compile CDs, where the program is set up for CD copying Dir2text does this too, but requires setting up as it is more complex and does a lot more. There are loads of such utilities on the net, this one is minimal and quick to use. |
