My Review (I am not a reviewer - Its just one personal view)
This is an advanced bat'n'ball game. As a freeware game, it's great. The levels packs do not vary vastly, in difficulty. The Idea is simple, the bonus icons, that you gather as they fall, take a bit of learning, to grab the useful ones, and avoid the baddies, whilst keeping the ball on the screen. The position of the hit alters the bounce angle. Bricks vary in difficulty of smashing. Levels change the minimum and maximum speeds and the size of the 'bat'. The graphics can be a bit jumpy, but anything beyond a Pentium 166. won't improve it much. I have an Athlon 1700XP and Its not much better? It has an option to turn off resources, which smoothes it, but I haven't tried it. I can handle the jumpyness, for an added thrill! This game needs an addiction Government Health Warning, unfortunately the graphics make you curse. But I say again. As a freeware game, it's great. My security reported a trojan called 'BackDoor' in the un-installer, but I have a more recent download, which scans OK. So if it's a concern, find the uninstall program, and quarantine or delete it. Personally It no concern, I can't imagine a reason to remove it! I won't. It's fun! |
