My Review (I am not a reviewer - Its just one personal view)
The help is an online site, however, it is a pretty straight-forward program that remembers all your settings, so mostly, you just bung the cd in, click for the CDDB to fill in all the titles which takes 10 seconds usually. The speed is pretty much system dependent. It rips a whole audio CD into High quality Mp3's at about CD player speed on a pentium II/500. It is about 6x speed with an Athlon 1700XP. The only niggle is that it only runs one CD, at a time and I could use 2, if only to set up the next one, while the first is ripping. A useful touch is that you can get it to adjust the audio level during ripping, so that the quiet classicals and high volume pop can be Mp3'd at a similar volume, better for random track playing, which I do all the time. I hardly ever use my Technics CD player now, since I connected the PC to it and play music direct from the PC.. There's over 120 CD's now on my hard-drive, and all available with no CD swapping! I know that you can do most of this for free, but this performs superbly, works faultlessly with the same setup as every previous time, so everything is smooth and easy. and a quick sound check allows volume comparisons for discs with unusual volumes.
